Young's remarks about Bitcoin are very similar to Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, who believes Bitcoin is more "authentic and real than the fake US dollar." Despite such loud statements from supporters of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, not all technologists have the same opinions about Bitcoin. Some, including JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, call Bitcoin a “scam.” In a recent interview with CNBS, he said: "It's possible that a person could find some use for Bitcoin, for example, if that person is a drug dealer or a murderer. Then yes, in Venezuela, North Korea or Ecuador, it is much easier to do this kind of business in Bitcoin than in US dollars. "
