Huawei recently announced the launch of Cloud Blockchain Service (BCS). The launch is another step by the company in the direction of the blockchain industry. In October this year, Huawei launched a commercial service for Chinese users.
The new service is available on the international version of the Huawei Cloud website, where enterprises can develop, host, and manage blockchain applications. According to the Chinese company, these processes will take place quickly and at minimal cost.
The developers claim that the BCS service is simple, effective and universal. It can be used in the Internet of Things, finance, as well as many other industries.
In April, Huawei launched the Blockchain-as-a-service (BCaaS) platform, which aims to enable companies to create smart contracts based on a network of distributed ledgers. According to Huawei developer Hu Ruifeng, the new BaaS solution is built on Hyperledger Fabric 1.0.
