You can now earn 1ST tokens in Dota 2

Representatives of FirstBlood, the first esports platform built on blockchain technology, recently announced the launch of a beta version of a decentralized application through which players will be able to compete with each other “one-on-one” for 1ST tokens.

The only game available in the beta version is Dota 2 in single player mode. According to FirstBlood, the development team is currently working on adding multiplayer mode, team mode, and adding new games to the platform.

Each PvP match on the FirstBlood platform requires a minimum of four participants playing different roles.

Players:people competing for the 1ST token

Host: a person who creates a lobby in Dota 2.

Witness: a randomly selected person who confirms the results of the match

Juror: a randomly selected person who confirms the correctness of the witness's verdict

To start a match, players need an online account Ethereum, 1ST tokens, the FirstBlood application, as well as an installed Steam and Dota 2 client. The payout to the winner is equal to 90% of the prize pool, the rest is distributed between the host, witness and juror in order to encourage participants to choose these roles.

Before the launch of the FirstBlood decentralized application, the company offered a system of e-sports tournaments with full automation of all actions - from registration for participation to payment of prize money. The company has attracted esports organizations such as Cloud9 and Envy to cooperate. All matches that take place on the platform are broadcast on the FirstBlood Twitch channel.
