Bittrex may block accounts of Russian users due to US sanctions

In the “support” section on the official website of the platform, information was published about restrictions on services based on the location of clients, which will come into force on March 9 of this year.

The first section of the clause talks about age restrictions, user agreements and account blocking, and does not stand out in particular.

But in section “2.2” you can see that the platform has introduced a number of restrictions regarding the location of clients.

More precisely, the clause states that “if a person is a citizen or resident of a country or territory that is embargoed by the United States, he has no right to use the services of Bittrex.”

This This means that citizens who are located on the territory of the Russian Federation can no longer trade on the Bittrex exchange. A number of other countries also fall under this list.

In addition, the section states that Bittrex has the right to resolve issues regarding the territorial ban on services at its own discretion.

Recall that it previously became known that Russian credit cooperatives will study cryptocurrencies.
