It's always a good idea to pay attention to the technical details that make crypto projects worth investing in. Of particular interest today are five projects, each of which is revolutionary in its own way. These are Tron (TRX), EOS (EOS), Zilliqa (ZIL), VeChain (VEN) and Cardano (ADA).
These projects have a lot in common. In addition to the loyal and strong community behind each of them, they are all currently working in test mode and developing full-fledged blockchain platforms. There is an exception to the rule - ADA, which will be discussed below.
To begin with, the launch of the Tron main network is scheduled for the end of this month - May 31st. This project has an ambitious plan to decentralize the Internet and its infrastructure.
Another project, EOS, will launch its main network in the second quarter of this year. The exact launch date is a hot topic of discussion online. Many believe that the main network will be available on either June 2nd or 3rd of this year. On the EOS website, you can see a countdown to the launch, according to which the full network will be available on June 2 at 22:59:59 UCT. The developers of the EOS network plan to have the most powerful platform for decentralized applications and smart contract capabilities superior to Ethereum.
The third project that plans to launch the main network in the second quarter of this year is VeChain (VEN). The new blockchain, known as VeChanThor, is currently in public alpha testing. The company selected one hundred testers to complete this stage. After the end of the alpha test at the end of July, a public beta test will begin for everyone. The exact launch date for the beta test has not yet been announced.
The exciting Zilliqa project is also currently running on a test version of the network, which was launched on March 31. The project has attracted a lot of attention thanks to the sharding concept of mining and a new revolutionary programming language known as Scilla. The project roadmap indicates that the launch of the main network is planned for the third quarter of this year. The exact date has not yet been announced.
Another project planning to launch the mainnet is Cardano (ADA). According to the project roadmap, a full-fledged network was ready on September 29 last year. However, the network is currently only available to trusted nodes run by the Cardano Foundation, IOHK and Emurgo.
The roadmap also includes plans for work on the Shelley project, which would decentralize the main network. Shelly will be released around the second or third quarter of this year.. Users will be able to delegate their shares, purchase shares or accept shares delegated to them. Contrary to popular belief, the ADA token is on its own blockchain.
