Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two most popular cryptocurrencies at the moment, with market caps of $111.7 billion and $45.4 billion respectively. Both currencies are very different from each other, which is why many traders are wondering - where is the best place to invest to get bigger profits?
According to New York law firm Foley and Lardner, most investors believe that Ethereum is the best investment. 38% of respondents chose Ethereum and 35% chose Bitcoin.
Foley and Lardner surveyed a group of investors and business executives about cryptocurrencies. Among the questions asked was which cryptocurrency they considered the best investment. The most popular choice was Ethereum, whose blockchain is primarily used as a platform for decentralized applications. As an open-source platform, Ethereum makes the adoption of distributed ledger technology much easier, attracting attention not only from new startups, but also from major software developers.
It should be noted that the number of people who consider Ethereum a better investment is not much greater than the number of people who think the same about Bitcoin. 35% of investors surveyed chose Bitcoin as their best investment. Only 5% of respondents chose Ripple, and just 2% said they would invest in Dash.
