Justin Sun: Stop using Ethereum, Tron is 100 times faster

Tron founder and CEO Justin Sun said that developers should create decentralized applications for the Tron blockchain, not Ethereum. This announcement comes shortly after the announcement that Ethereum is already at capacity.

The announcement states:

Please stop hosting Dapps on the Ethereum blockchain as it is full. Use $ETC, $POA or any other network that is also supported by MyCrypto, MetaMask and others.

Justin Sun took advantage of this news to promote Tron. According to him, this network offers a better level of service than Ethereum.

Yes! Stop hosting Dapps on Ethereum and move to the #TRON network immediately! Our network is 100 times faster than ETH and we are fully compatible with Ethereum. We can also guarantee the best user experience!

According to Sun, Tron Virtual Machine is fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, so the transition to the Tron network will be almost imperceptible for developers.

Despite Sun's claims, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said that congestion on the Ethereum network is not a problem, as “there are several decentralized applications that can undergo gas optimization.” According to him, decentralized applications will automatically switch to efficient use of gas if their costs exceed the norm.

All Tron tools are very similar to Ethereum tools. When Tron Virtual Machine launched, the developer toolset included Tron Web, which is very similar to Ethereum Web.js. Other tools like Tronlink, Tron Tuffle and Tron Remix are equivalent to Metamask and Ethereum Tuffle.

It seems that Tron wants to surpass Ethereum not only in the cryptocurrency market, but also in the decentralized application market. The game Cryptokitties based on Ethereum was supposed to improve the quality of the network, but, apparently, it has become its weak point, which is used by developers of other blockchains. What will be the next step for Ethereum?
