The world's first race with rewards in digital currency will take place in Lithuania

The Lympo platform will take part in the organization of the Danske Bank Vilnius Marathon, which will take place on September 12 this year in Vilnius. 14,000 participants in the 10 km race will be awarded LYM tokens through the Lympo digital wallet.

“This marathon will present our company and the latest technologies that we create in Vilnius. Marathon participants will be able to admire the city's historical landmarks and picturesque landscapes, knowing that it is also the birthplace of new digital ideas,” says Lympo CEO Ada Jonus.

“This is a winning combination, offering our runners a new way to motivate their aspirations to achieve better health goals and purchase the Lympo app, which is supporting Danske Bank Vilnius Marathon this year,” said marathon organizer Darius Mikulis

Lympo is a digital wallet that tracks workout data on digital gadgets and rewards users with Lympo tokens when they achieve their goals. The resulting digital currency can be used to pay for fitness services and purchases for a healthy lifestyle.

In addition, as an addition to the application, the Lympo for Sports fund will be created, which will become a mechanism for financing sports events and initiatives to promote a healthy lifestyle. The fund will be controlled by a board consisting of famous athletes, Lympo partners and leaders of sports communities from different countries.
