Cream Finance DeFi protocol hacked again

The Cream Finance DeFi protocol was hacked for the second time this year. Estimated damage was $18 million.

On August 30, the lending platform was hacked. The two hackers completed seventeen transactions in less than two hours. Fraudsters withdrew Ether, AMP and Cream.

Shortly after the hack, the price of AMP fell by about 15% and CREAM by about 7%.


This is the second time Cream Finance has fallen victim to hackers. In February of this year, a hacker discovered a vulnerability in the protocol and stole $37.5 million.
