AMC previously said it would move to processing payments in Dogecoin by the end of the year and was also exploring the possibility of accepting SHIB. The company conducted polls about this on Twitter. 68% of subscribers voted for Dogecoin, 81% for Shiba Inu.
According to CEO Adam Aron, the company is also discussing with Hollywood studios the possibility of creating commemorative non-fungible tokens associated with major films. In addition, AMC is considering creating its own token.
