Without such a technical solution, launching mass production of models is impossible. Despite their experience and solid reputation in the industry, JDI and LG Display are not yet able to get rid of light artifacts in the notch area and reduce the defect rate.
The release of new iPhones with 5.8- and 6.5-inch OLED displays has also been announced for this year. It is not yet known whether there will be a delay in their release.
