The CEO of the world's largest crypto exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao, is ready to give up his entire fortune.
In an interview, Changpeng Zhao said:
I sincerely intend to give away most of my wealth, as many other successful entrepreneurs have done from the time of the Rockefellers to the present day. I am ready to give away 90, 95 or 99% of my wealth.
The CEO of Binance announced his intention to donate his assets for the first time.
The Binance founder insists that he has achieved financial freedom and does not need a significant income to maintain his existing lifestyle.
Changpeng Zhao also revealed that he owns only two cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC) and Binance Coin (BNB). Zhao mentioned that he does not invest in other currencies and does not own stakes in companies other than Binance.
Forbes magazine estimated Zhao's net worth as of March 2021 at approximately $2 billion.
However, given Binance's valuation of $300 billion, many experts believe that the CEO's real wealth could be more than $200 billion, as the company's main shareholder.
