The Enjin ecosystem has created a new fund to support projects aimed at developing metaverse and NFT technologies.
Recently, Facebook and Microsoft announced their intentions to create their own versions of metaverses. One of the original masterminds of virtual universes, Efinity, is forming a $100 million Efinity Metaverse Fund to develop the technology.
Enjin is a team of gaming space veterans who were the first to come up with the idea of Metaverse in early 2018. Enjin plans to create an open, free and decentralized metaverse in which everyone can participate.
The Efinity Foundation will accept applications from projects and give them funds to develop a parachain based on Polkadot, cross-solutions, games and NFTs.
