The Zilliqa blockchain has announced its new metaverse called Metapolis, which will appear next month.
The new virtual city on the Zilliqa blockchain is designed as an XR extended reality metaverse, combining augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR).
Metapolis will allow the creation of special “domes” to house exhibition and concert halls, brands, games, stores, and similar places for users.
By logging into Metapolis, users can customize their NFT avatar, which will represent their digital identity.
Metapolis is designed to be “highly immersive and gamifying,” with an “always-on” interaction layer to make the virtual world borderless and accessible, with a high level of personalization.
