Beijing-based app developer Cheetah Mobile announced Thursday that it is releasing an app to help investors monitor their portfolio of cryptocurrency assets.
The Dubbed Coin Master mobile app, available for iOS and Android, will track real-time cryptocurrency prices across more than 100 exchanges and automatically calculate total losses or profits after users update their trading histories. The company said investors can update their portfolios either by manually entering their transaction information, including fiat-to-crypto or cryptocurrency-to-crypto transactions, or by linking the app to the wallet or exchange where they hold assets.
Cheetah Mobile Senior Vice President Edward Sun said the new product allows cryptocurrency investors to "check the status of their assets anytime, anywhere."
Cheetah Mobile, a publicly traded company, New York Stock Exchange, changed its previous name from Kingsoft Security to its current name in 2010 and is a subsidiary of Kingsoft, one of the oldest and largest software companies in China. It is noteworthy that the vice-chairman of the company is Lei Jun, a famous Chinese entrepreneur, founder of Xiaomi electronics.
The Cheetah Mobile company entered the cryptocurrency market in January when it released a wallet application for Android and iOS devices.
