The number of women investors increased by 198% in 2021

The number of female crypto investors has grown sharply this year. Statistics from the Bitstamp exchange note that their number has increased by 198% compared to last year.

Most of the fair sex became crypto traders at the age of 30-35. However, the most successful women in this market are women in the older category - 55-60 years old. Surprisingly, they are more willing to take risks, invest larger sums and, accordingly, receive greater profits.

Women are confidently beginning to occupy vacancies in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. According to CoinMarketCap, the number of female employees in the crypto space grew by 43% last year.

However, men still dominate the crypto sphere. According to the latest data, 66% of crypto investors are men, and 55% of them are under 35 years of age. In 2018, men made up 91% of the Bitcoin community, according to CoinDance.
