Ethereum vs Ripple - stubborn struggle for second place in terms of capitalization

Bitcoin over the past 24 hours managed to recover only to the 50% fibonacci level, but failed to overcome this resistance level, consolidating in the price area of ​​15000.00 USD. This week the price will continue to recover to the target level of 17,000.00 USD. In terms of capitalization, Bitcoin holds the leading position with a volume of 252 billion US dollars. 

ETH/USD and XRP/USD

In my forecast yesterday, I said that Ethereum will reach 950.00 USD and will overtake Ripple in capitalization. The 950.00 USD mark has been successfully passed, capitalization has reached almost 94 billion US dollars. However, Ripple also significantly increased in price and, having reached the predicted maximum at around 2.500, continued to move along the trend, recording a new historical maximum of 2.856. Thus, the capitalization amounted to more than 120 billion US dollars, thanks to which Ripple retained second place in terms of capitalization. The struggle continues; the forecast for the movement of cryptocurrency pairs on January 4 is schematically presented on the price chart.
