MicroStrategy, which has been accumulating Bitcoin non-stop since 2020, made another large purchase as the asset fell.
MicroStrategy added 660 BTC, purchased for $25 million, to its wallets. The deal took place from December 30 to January 31, and the software company paid an average of $37,865 per Bitcoin.
B Micro Strategy currently holds 125,051 BTC in its reserves, purchased for $3.78 billion, with an average value of just over $30,000 per coin. At current prices, the company's assets are valued at $4.8 billion.
Michael Saylor's accumulation strategy also goes beyond MicroStrategy. In December, he announced that he personally owns more than 17,000 BTC worth about $680 million.
