According to the CEO of the Soros Foundation, the billionaire's family office invested in Bitcoin.
In an interview with Bloomberg, Soros Fund CEO Don Flitzpatrick said:
On our side, we own some coins. We don't have a lot of them, and these coins themselves are much less interesting than use cases for them, such as DeFi.
He added:
I'm not sure that people see Bitcoin only as a hedge against inflation. The capitalization of cryptocurrencies is more than $2 trillion. They are used by more than 200 million people around the world. So Bitcoin has already become mainstream.
