A national educational portal will be created in Georgia using blockchain technologies. Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated this at the presentation of education reform.
In his opinion, this will lead to increased trust, maximum transparency, reduction of government costs and facilitation of educational processes.
“I would like to highlight one more thing. Learning is not just about collecting information, it is the wrong approach. Full knowledge implies creative processing of information and the ability to apply it in practice. This is what our reform will be oriented towards.” - said the Prime Minister.
According to him, the younger generation must have deep knowledge and the ability to create public good. The Prime Minister is convinced that Georgia today has become part of European civilization and strives to return to the European family.
"Our spiritual fathers, the creators of the Ikalto and Gelati Academy, our great educators - Vakhtang VI and Sulkhan Saba Orbeliani, their eminent predecessors - Ilya Chavchavadze and other Tergdaleulebi, founders of the first democratic republics - only in education they saw the salvation of our country, the vector of its development and the strength of moving forward. This is not my personal goal or dancing to someone else's tune, this is our civilized decision, the path to strengthening democracy, which we have chosen for centuries. I would like to end my appeal with the words of our great pro-European educator Ilya Chavchavadze - nothing will save us from poverty except those skills and efforts that only knowledge and. training"
The presentation of the educational reform took place in the Ikalto monastery complex.
