Buterin hopes that the new Ethereum fund will not disappoint his expectations

The most loyal supporters of Ethereum are going to join forces to create a fund that will help improve the work of various projects on the second largest blockchain in the world.

The Ethereum Community Fund (ECF) will also support start-up projects in the form of a grant program, and will exist as a “permanent financial resource for selected projects,” according to the press release. It is also important that the co-founder of the fund is none other than the creator of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, who confirmed this information in his email to CoinDesk.

“Ethereum's success in recent years has exceeded my expectations, but the work is not finished yet,” he says in a statement. “In 2018, we set ourselves the goal of providing people with a quality experience worthy of the hype around cryptocurrencies. Initiatives like the ECF, which help develop the sector, will make our goals achievable.”

All ECF participants expressed hope that their project will encourage other developers and companies to join forces to achieve what they believe should be everyone's priority.

“ Alone, one project can create something that will improve the performance of an entire industry,” says Jun Hasegawa, one of the co-founders of ECF. - “However, by working together, we can create a product that will change the world.”
