Ripple received registration on one of the world's most popular crypto exchanges. Singapore-based crypto platform KuCoin has announced the listing of the XRP token, developed by US firm Ripple Labs, on its trading platform.
On its official website, KuCoin announced that it has added XRP to its list of tradable digital assets.
Deposits can be made immediately. Purchase orders began being processed on December 3rd. Order sales and withdrawals have been available since December 5, 2018.
When an exchange lists popular cryptocurrencies like XRP, the first thing the exchange does is try to properly facilitate trading on its platform. KuCoin has done just that by providing a range of trading pairs for XRP.
These include:
XRP / BTC
XRP / USDT
XRP / NEO
XRP / PAX
XRP / ETH
XRP / TUSD
XRP / KCS
XRP / USDC.
Of course, these are the starting pairs, and it is expected that their list will be expanded.
In addition to listing XRP, KuCoin also announced a limited special offer. During this period, traders looking to exchange XRP will benefit from a special offer that offers a 99% discount on fees. During this period, anyone trading XRP on this Singapore-based platform will only pay 1% of the trading fee they would normally pay. The supply ends exactly one minute after midnight on December 10.
At a time when the crypto market is fighting off brutal attacks from bears, XRP managed to maintain the second place in market capitalization and listingg of a major exchange will help survive the prolonged period of high volatility.
