BitMEX Exchange plans to launch spot trading, brokerage services and cryptocurrency storage service
CEO 100x Group - the management company of BitMEX - Alexander Hoptner in an interview with Bloomberg said:
We need to very quickly decide how to implement these plans - find partners, or buy someone or build the platform ourselves.
Hoptner joined 100x Group in January, three months after the US government accusedformer executives of violating AML rules and deliberately withdrawing large sums from the company’s accounts.
The new CEO will have to lead BitMEX out of the largest crisis in the history of the exchange and restore its reputation in the eyes of regulators.
